(He/Him)
Licensed professional Counselor
From a young age, I have had an enduring interest in psychology, therapy, and mental health. Growing up, I struggled with anxiety and depression and I have spent the majority of my life working to become a therapist to give back to my community. My goal is to help my clients in identifying their own personal values and develop a sense of meaning in their lives. I view therapy as an essential practice and a necessary resource and I believe that it can be an important tool in self-growth and development for everyone.
My personal therapeutic approach often focuses on assisting my clients to build and develop strategies and systems in their lives to help support them through hard times and nurture them during the good times. I try to create a safe and supportive environment in which my clients can show up authentically and develop better self-understanding. I also emphasize the importance of those relationships that we keep around us and the value that healthy boundaries, respect, and care represent in developing healthier and stronger relationships. I also have a strong interest in non-monogamous, polyamorous, and non-traditional relationships of all kinds and our practice specializes in serving the LGBTQ+ community.
In my free time I can usually be found walking my dog through the neighborhoods, trying out new baking recipes in the kitchen, or playing video games."
