About Us
Full Spectrum Therapy was founded in 2017 to serve the growing mental health needs of the transgender, gender-creative, and non-binary communities. With our 2023 acquisition of Brave Space, a thriving therapy practice with an office on Powell Blvd, we now serve over 300 clients, ranging from youth and adolescents to couples and families. Over 90% of our clients are on Medicaid, which means we uniquely serve a population that otherwise may not have access to high-quality gender-affirming mental health services.
In addition to individual, couples, and family therapy, we offer therapeutic groups that are formed in response to community needs and provider passions; these groups offer our clinicians an opportunity to work together to explore a particular modality (such as somatics or art therapy) or mental health experience (such as social anxiety). While working at Full Spectrum, our clinicians are empowered to continue their professional journeys with our support. Current clinicians have secured continuing education in EMDR, psychedelic integration services, ecotherapy, and more!
Our Staff Experience
Full Spectrum offers an environment where clinicians work together, engaging with each other, sharing insights, and collaborating on complex cases. Staff meets weekly for group consultation, allowing clinicians to receive guidance from experienced colleagues or senior clinicians, and monthly for topical clinical trainings. Additionally, we offer in-house clinical supervision for non-licensed clinicians. This support system provides valuable ongoing feedback, creating opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Full Spectrum provides our staff with dozens of shared resources, including comfortable and private therapy rooms at two office spaces, administrative support, billing services, marketing, and technology infrastructure. This means that our clinicians spend more time focusing on their therapeutic responsibilities and less time managing administrivia.
Because we serve such a diverse client base, our staff quickly gain experience working with a wide variety of client presentations, enhancing their professional development and broadening their expertise. We also provide an annual stipend that clinicians can use for conferences, supplemental outside clinical supervision, or certification programs to deepen their learning.
