I believe that connection with others has the ability to unlock a profound sense of healing. My style is to work relationally and collaboratively with you in order to articulate your struggles, set therapeutic goals, and work together to create desired changes. In our time together we will work to uncover, understand, and change patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that have become barriers or sources of difficulty for you.
I practice from a trauma-informed, feminist, social justice, and client-centered perspective, and in working with intimate relationships, I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy. I have experience working with neurodivergent youth and am passionate about working with folks who navigate life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and issues related to relationships, sex, and kinks.
I identify as a Queer, Fat, Sex-Positive, White, Cis-Woman and aim to show up authentically in session. I recognize that many of my identities hold privilege, and I am willing to address that with you in our sessions.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. I enjoy good food and questionable coffee, and I often find myself getting lost in a book or a movie.
I know that taking the step to finding a therapist can be difficult and frustrating. I am so glad that you are doing it and I am looking forward to meeting and working with you!
As a Professional Counselor Associate, I am supervised by Dr. Angela Harman, Psy.D.
