(They/them)

Pat Johnston is a supervised Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADCII) who specializes in group therapy. Beneath those titles, Pat is a non-binary, pet-loving, song-singing person who believes that life is full of struggle-- and that struggle is made easier with support. Pat is here at Full Spectrum Therapy to help facilitate and create that support for you through group therapy environments. Graduating with a Master's in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho in 2022, Pat has experience working as a case manager and therapist in small town communities as an LGBTQ+ identifying individual. Finding group therapy is a way to connect with others and grow together, Pat has specialized in running Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) groups, making the content engaging, fun, and meaningful to clients. Group therapy is a way to learn new coping skills, to connect with others who are similar to you, and to give as well as receive feedback about the many complicated struggles life gives us.
